Carty McSween is a fourth generation attorney at McSween, McSween, and Greene, preceded by his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He tries to focus his law practice on taxation, property, probate, estate planning, and business matters.
Carty graduated from Carson-Newman College with a double major in History and Political Science in May 2010 and from the University of Memphis School of Law in May 2014. Carty has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Tennessee, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the U.S. Tax Court.
Carty and his wife, Caroline, are members of First Baptist Church of Newport. Caroline is a physician assistant at Summit Medical Group on Cosby Highway. Carty is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Newport.
